Research
My research interests are concentrated on high-energy particle physics. At present I am involved in the ZEUS experiment, which is situated in the e-p storage ring HERA, DESY, Hamburg, Germany and the ATLAS experiment, which is situated in the p-p storage ring LHC, CERN, Geneva, Switzerland. During my sabbatical in 2005 I worked on the CLEO-c experiment. As of 1 October 2007 I am the Scientific Manager of the Helmholtz Alliance "Physics at the Terascale"
